Artificial intelligence-powered customer service automation startup Ushur Inc. today announced the launch of its next-generation AI agent product purpose-built for highly regulated industries.
Named Ushur Intelligence, the new service is designed for enterprise-grade security, compliance and control for healthcare, insurance and financial service organizations so they can deploy their domain-specific AI agents to personalize workflows without compromising privacy or safety.
“Agentic AI marks a major shift — from reactive task automation to proactive, intuitive problem-solving,” said co-founder and Chief Executive Simha Sadasiva.
Agentic AI refers to AI systems that can act autonomously, make decisions and take actions with minimal human oversight. Unlike traditional AI, which primarily works to analyze, predict and generate content, agentic AI can initiate tasks, plan actions and execute them independently. As AI becomes more mainstream, goal-driven AI agents allow for reasoning and decision-making capabilities well beyond rule-based automation or a traditional chatbot.
Ushur said with Intelligence businesses will receive domain-specific AI agents trained for healthcare, insurance and financial service to ensure precision and regulatory alignment. The platform can orchestrate across multiple departments and workflows and adapt based on necessary context.
Importantly, all agents have built-in compliance frameworks for Heath Insurance Portability and Accountability, Systems and Organization Controls 2, General Data Protection Regulation and Health Information Trust Alliance.
