Sify unveils Pay-Per-Use colocation for NVIDIA AI data centres

Sify Technologies has announced a new pay-per-use colocation pricing model for AI cloud services. This move aims to make it easier and more cost-effective for businesses to deploy high-performance computing infrastructure to support AI applications.

Sify is now offering hourly pricing for colocation services at its NVIDIA-certified AI-ready hyperscale data centres. This model includes costs for hosting, power, and infrastructure, removing the need for large upfront investments typically associated with such deployments.

The pay-per-use model will be rolled out across three of Sify’s data centre campuses certified under NVIDIA’s DGX-Ready Data Centre program, including its facilities in Chennai, Noida, and Navi Mumbai. The Navi Mumbai data centre was certified in 2024. These hyperscale campuses support rack densities of up to 130 KW per rack, making them suitable for hosting high-end GPU systems.

As demand for AI infrastructure grows, enterprises need faster and more flexible ways to scale. By switching to an hourly billing model, Sify reduces cost barriers and infrastructure risks, allowing businesses to respond more quickly to AI market demands. The new model is especially beneficial for GPU cloud providers, who can now bring NVIDIA platforms to India without having to invest in building their own physical infrastructure.

The offering will benefit global and Indian enterprises working on AI workloads, GPU cloud providers, startups, and developers looking for affordable, high-performance infrastructure. It also strengthens NVIDIA’s partner ecosystem by enabling quick deployment of advanced hardware in India.

Initially, the service will support several of NVIDIA’s latest GPU platforms, including the H100, H200, B200, GB200 NVL72, and GB300 NVL72, along with liquid-cooled GPU variants. Clients can opt for infrastructure on an hourly basis rather than signing long-term contracts or paying fixed monthly fees.

Sify provides not only the hosting environment but also low-latency global connectivity, white glove IT services, and managed infrastructure support, ensuring seamless deployment and operations for customers. This initiative is expected to accelerate AI adoption across industries and support India’s emergence as a global hub for AI workloads.

With this innovative offering, Sify strengthens its position in India’s digital infrastructure space and plays a key role in powering the country’s growing AI ecosystem.
