This week’s AL TV Product Walk Through looks at ratemyNDA, an AI-based system built specifically to analyse NDAs, in particular showing how they conform or deviate from market norms.
It’s the first product launched by legal tech startup Contract Rabbit, which plans to develop additional AI models for processing other types of legal documents. AL found their approach to be visually engaging and with a strong analytical edge, which will definitely appeal to those who really like to understand just how much the clauses in their contracts vary compared to others at a very granular level of detail.
Taking us through the video is John Hasley, Contract Rabbit Co-Founder and CEO. Please press Play to watch inside the page.

And here’s some more on what ratemyNDA does for lawyers:
‘Use a model trained on publicly available NDAs to give a ‘market read’ of their document or train the model on their own set of NDAs;
pinpoint exactly where a given document deviates from the documents that their model has been trained on and what the biggest red flags in their document are;
instantly generate a revised version that optimizes the document from their perspective and aligns the language of the document with their preferred language;
audit the model’s outputs to ensure all document revisions tie out to the right sources.’
