Here’s one for those of you on hols and sitting on the beach in Malaga…..CLM company Bigle and PwC in Spain have formed a strategic alliance.
Under the agreement, PwC Tax & Legal will ‘act as a strategic partner in the diagnosis and redesign of legal processes, while Bigle provides its software suite to execute, automate and monitor those processes’.
Bigle, which has its main base in Spain, but also has offices in London and South America, said that the goal is to facilitate continuous process improvement related to areas such as ‘legal requests, document automation, negotiation and validation, electronic signatures, and document renewals’, supported by its legal AI capabilities that drive the platform.
While centred on PwC Spain for now, there is the potential for this arrangement to be used in other markets where PwC is based as well, the company added.
Patricia Manca, NewLaw associate at PwC Tax & Legal, said: ‘This alliance with Bigle allows us to offer our clients an innovative solution to tackle the bottlenecks and inefficient processes departments experience. The aim is that, in addition to implementing Bigle’s technology and benefiting from the support and guidance we provide, the process is carried out with a strategic vision that integrates the areas involved in the process and promotes scalable integration for the client.’
While Juan de Lara Lazarich, Partnership Manager at Bigle, added: ‘The collaboration with PwC is a strategic step that allows us to maximise the value our technology brings to legal departments.’
Congrats to them on the deal – one of an increasing number between the Big Four firms and CLM providers around the world.
