Professor Andrew Ng of Stanford University, an AI authority considered one of the world’s four greatest artificial intelligence (AI) masters, has established AI Aspire, an advisory company that consults companies on AI introduction.

Professor Yes said on his social media (SNS) on the 15th (local time), “A new AI advisory company ‘AI Aspire’ was officially launched. We will support companies in establishing AI strategies and transitioning their journey,” he said.

AI Aspire has partnered with consulting firm Bain & Company to start such AI advice. The goal is to create synergy by combining Professor Yes’s expertise in AI technology and industry expertise of Bain & Company.

Professor Ng said, “C-levels of companies feel that they need top-down leadership to transform AI, but it is very complicated to figure out how AI will affect certain industries,” adding, “We will support companies to solve the difficulties they face in introducing AI.”

Questions such as how AI can be used to increase corporate productivity, what workflows can be simplified, or what jobs should be increased and reduced in terms of human resource (HR) management are the concerns of the management team.

“AI is the most innovative technology of the current generation,” said Chuck Whitten, global director of digital capabilities at Bain & Company. “In order to make the most of its potential, insight and execution of cutting-edge technologies are important,” he said, explaining that Professor Ng will cooperate with 1,500 AI and digital experts at Bain & Company.

Professor Ng, a master of AI, is a person who has contributed to the popularization of AI by making efforts not only to research technology but also to spread AI education. He was a founding member of Google Brain, Google’s deep learning organization, and later worked as the chief scientist of Baidu, China’s largest search engine.

He founded Kocera, an AI education platform, and is currently chairman of the AI research organization ‘Deep Learning AI’.
