Partnership on AI Welcomes 10 New Partners

Advancing our mission to bring together diverse voices to address the most important questions about our future with AI, Partnership on AI (PAI) is proud to welcome 10 new Partners to our global community.

“As AI capabilities evolve and adoption grows globally, working together across borders and sectors is more important than ever,” said Rebecca Finlay, CEO of Partnership on AI. “From child safety and real world evaluations to enterprise-wide governance and advanced safety research. These 10 organizations bring important expertise to the global AI conversation required for a responsible and inclusive future with AI.”

Organizations in the AI ecosystem are dealing not only with the pace of technological advancement but also with the changing policy landscape. As a community, PAI provides a unique venue for Partners to come together to explore emerging technology trends and their impacts on our world.. Through dialogue and collaboration, we are able to meet the moment with co-created solutions.

The 10 new Partners have headquarters in Canada, China, France, Germany, Singapore, South Korea, and the U.S. With these additions, PAI’s constellation of Partners now counts more than 140 organizations across 17 countries.

Concordia AI

Concordia AI is a social enterprise dedicated to advancing global AI safety and governance, with offices in Beijing and Singapore. We advance global AI safety by conducting research, advising leading AI companies and policymakers, and promoting international dialogue.

Joining the Partnership on AI strengthens our commitment to fostering collaborative, innovative solutions that align AI development with societal benefit, amplifying our impact through PAI’s global community,” said Brian Tse, Founder and CEO of Concordia AI.

EqualAI

EqualAI helps companies, policymakers, and institutions implement effective AI governance frameworks. We build trust in AI through practical governance solutions, widespread AI literacy, and industry collaboration. Our work connects leaders across sectors to develop standards and practices that address key challenges in AI implementation and ensure AI understanding reaches all of us.

Humane Intelligence Nonprofit

Humane Intelligence is a 501(c)3 nonprofit dedicated to breaking down barriers to AI deployment for social good. We collaboratively design and run rigorous evaluations that make AI systems more accountable, responsible, and fairer.

“Humane Intelligence nonprofit is looking forward to collaborating with Partnership on AI and furthering our mission to make AI evaluations more accessible. We have worked with partners globally, including Singapore IMDA, UNESCO, and FEMYSO, and we are excited to engage with the PAI member community. In doing so, we will continue to strengthen our design and facilitation of rigorous evaluations that make AI systems more accountable, responsible, and fair,” said Dr. Rumman Chowdhury, Co-Founder and Distinguished Advisor of Humane Intelligence.

Impact AI

Impact AI is the first collective for massive adoption of responsible AI, from design to deployment. A pioneer for 7 years, Impact AI brings together 100+ member companies and organizations, 300 field managers, and one million employees impacted, all working together for the adoption of trustworthy AI. Tech and non-tech engage in dialogue for cross-disciplinary enrichment between innovation leaders and business functions.

Korea AI Safety Institute

The Korea Artificial Intelligence Safety Institute (Korea AISI) is Korea’s designated AI safety institute dedicated to evaluating the risks posed by AI models and systems, and to advancing technologies for addressing these risks. Representing the Republic of Korea, it collaborates with AI safety-related institutes and organizations worldwide.

“Ensuring the safety, security, and trustworthiness of AI is a global challenge that requires collective wisdom and cooperation. At the Korea AI Safety Institute, we are dedicated to advancing rigorous evaluation, risk governance, and international collaboration to safeguard society as AI technologies evolve. By joining the Partnership on AI, we look forward to contributing Korea’s perspectives and experiences while learning from our peers worldwide. Together, we can strengthen the foundations for safe and human-centered AI.”

Mila – Quebec Artificial Intelligence Institute

Founded by Professor Yoshua Bengio of the University of Montreal, Mila is the world’s largest academic research center for deep learning, bringing together over 1,300 specialized researchers in machine learning. Based in Montreal and funded in part by the Government of Canada through the Pan-Canadian AI Strategy, Mila’s mission is to be a global center for scientific advancements that inspire innovation and the growth of AI for the benefit of all. Mila is a globally recognized non-profit organization for its significant contributions to deep learning, especially in the fields of language modeling, automatic translation, object recognition, and generative models.

Resaro AI

Resaro is an independent, third-party AI assurance provider that builds AI testing tools to evaluate the performance, safety, and security of dual-use AI systems. With co-headquarters in Singapore and Europe, Resaro combines its global engineering capabilities with deep domain expertise in mission-critical use cases to offer scientific and reliable approaches to testing.

SeedAI

SeedAI works to ensure AI policy meets the real needs of communities across the country while advancing U.S. leadership on the world stage.

“One of the greatest risks in AI is that it is only developed, regulated, and considered by an extraordinarily small number of people. SeedAI is proud to join the Partnership on AI to help overcome this obstacle. We’re excited to get to work,” said Joshua New, Director of Policy at SeedAI.

Thorn

Thorn is an innovative nonprofit that transforms how children are protected from sexual abuse and exploitation through cutting-edge technology, original research, and collaborative partnerships.

At Thorn, we see firsthand how generative AI can further sexual harms against children, but also the potential ML/AI holds to accelerate critical child safety work. PAI has long been a leader in addressing AI’s most important challenges, and we welcome the opportunity to continue to collaboratively work with the broader community in ensuring that generative AI is not misused to harm children,” said Dr. Rebecca Portnoff, VP Data Science & AI at Thorn.
