Pursuing our mission to bring together a global multistakeholder community to address the future of AI, Partnership on AI welcomes new Partners: Chief Executives for Corporate Purpose (CECP), Mastercard, and Responsible AI UK.

Organizations are moving quickly to deploy AI solutions in hopes of driving efficiency and competitiveness. In this environment, collaborations to drive responsible AI adoption are critical–not just for the organizations, but for their workers, customers, and broader communities.

“I’m very happy to welcome Chief Executives for Corporate Purpose, Mastercard, and Responsible AI UK to our global partnership,” said Rebecca Finlay, CEO, Partnership on AI. “As the adoption and impact of AI grows, leadership matters. These three new partners in corporate purpose, global payments and academic collaboration exemplify the cross-sector leadership required for responsible governance. We look forward to hearing the unique experiences and perspectives of these new partners.”

The new Partners will join our global network of more than 120 organizations that collaborate with PAI to identify AI’s most important challenges and opportunities and co-develop practical, effective guidance for responsible AI.

“Chief Executives for Corporate Purpose® (CECP) empowers its network of 200+ leading companies to harness corporate purpose for a better world,” said Daryl Brewster, CEO of CECP. “In collaboration with Partnership on AI (PAI), we will equip business leaders with the tools to adopt AI responsibly, which is especially important as our recent CEO polling shows AI implementation is a top priority for CEOs and this new partnership can help them navigate its complexity.”

“At Mastercard, we are excited to be paving the way in developing and deploying AI and data practices that ensure AI is transparent, fair, and effective,” said Andrew Reiskind, Chief Data Officer, Mastercard. “This collaboration with Partnership on AI allows us to work with like-minded companies to expedite the development of those practices. Responsible AI and AI Governance is a business imperative to ensure we build and sustain trust with all who are engaging with the technology. Our AI governance program outlines concrete steps and requirements for the development and application of ethical AI, including risk management and we’re excited to bring our insights to the community.”

“Our new collaboration with Partnership on AI marks a significant step toward building more robust guidance for AI governance and accountability,” said Prof. Sarvapali (Gopal) Ramchurn, CEO, Responsible AI UK. “RAi UK and Partnership on AI are committed to multidisciplinary approaches prioritising human well-being and ethical considerations. Together, we’ll focus on developing practical tools for responsible AI implementation across sectors, addressing shared priorities in AI fairness, transparency, and public participation. This partnership enhances our global reach and combines our complementary expertise to ensure AI technologies are developed and deployed to benefit society while minimizing potential harms.”
