Moveworks Achieves Exclusive FedRAMP® “In Process” Designation for Moveworks GovCloud

Company expands its agentic AI assistant to the public sector; continues its commitment to data protection and compliance

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., July 15, 2025–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Moveworks, the leading agentic AI Assistant for the enterprise, today announced that it has achieved Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP®) “In Process” designation on the FedRAMP marketplace.

The “In Process” designation for a cloud service provider (CSP) represents a critical milestone during the lengthy and rigorous FedRAMP review process. It demonstrates that the CSP has identified a government agency that will sponsor Moveworks through FedRAMP authorization, with the intent to grant an Authorization to Operate (ATO) and start using the technology.

“The FedRAMP certification is critical for government agencies to know they are purchasing software that has been thoroughly vetted and proves that our platform meets the proper security and privacy standards,” said Damián Hasse, Chief Information Security Officer at Moveworks. “Security and privacy has been a core commitment from day one in earning trust with our customers. This designation carries significant weight with the organizations we work with, including long-standing federal contractors such as Leidos, Guidehouse, Mantech, and Northrop Grumman.”

FedRAMP is a U.S. government program that promotes the adoption of secure cloud services across the federal government by providing a standardized approach to security and risk assessment for cloud technologies and federal agencies. Moveworks has invested a considerable amount of time and resources to prioritize this certification as government agencies look to use AI to drive efficiency.

Driving the Future of AI in Government

Bhavin Shah, Founder and CEO of Moveworks, recently testified before Congress on the government’s use of AI, while shining light on how AI is fundamentally transforming how work gets done across America’s $30 trillion economy. His testimony focused on how government agencies can realize the true potential of AI–while saving money, creating efficiencies, and improving the experience of government employees without compromising non-negotiable security standards.

“Achieving FedRAMP ‘In Process’ designation demonstrates Moveworks’ commitment to the security-first approach we require,” said Alexandra Guenther, CIO, Leidos. “Their technology can meet the stability and security standards necessary for highly regulated government contractor operations, giving us the confidence to deploy it at scale.”

Story Continues

Moveworks’ wall-to-wall agentic AI system enables public sector organizations to find answers, automate tasks, boost productivity and build AI agents. In addition to Moveworks’ AI platform, Moveworks GovCloud is a specialized environment of Moveworks that is designed for the needs of U.S. government entities at the federal, state, and local levels, offering secure and compliant AI-powered employee support solutions within government-approved cloud environments. By functioning within AWS GovCloud (US), Moveworks not only extends its services to these agencies, but also to contractors, educational institutions, and other U.S. customers tasked with managing sensitive data and workloads.
