Manipal Institute of Technology (MIT), a constituent unit of the Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), has bagged the IMC Ramkrishna Bajaj National Quality Award Trophy 2024 in the Education Category.
The IMC RBNQ Awards remain among India’s most respected accolades for performance excellence, recognising outstanding contributions across manufacturing, service, education and overseas sectors, said a release.
MIT director Cdr. Anil Rana and associate professor Dasharathraj K. Shetty received the award from IMC Chamber of Commerce and Industry president Sanjaya Mariwala and IMC RBNQ Award Trust chairman Niraj Bajaj in Mumbai recently.
MAHE senior leadership – Ranjan Pai, president, MAHE Trust and chairman, Manipal Education and Medical Group, H.S. Ballal, pro-chancellor, Lt. Ge.n M.D. Venkatesh, vice-chancellor and Narayana Sabhahit, pro-vice chancellor expressed their appreciation to MIT Manipal on the achievement.
Cdr. Rana said, “It was a distinct honour to receive the IMC-RBNQA Award. This recognition stands as a testament to MIT-Manipal’s seven decades of unwavering commitment to academic and research excellence, holistic student development, environmental responsibility, safety, community engagement, and progressive human resource practices.”
