Law Business Research (LBR), a portfolio company of the ICG asset management business, has acquired Legal Geek.
Legal Geek’s management team, Jimmy Vestbirk and Beth Fellner, will remain with the business and continue to lead the Legal Geek portfolio, which they have successfully grown and expanded in recent years.
Nick Brailey, LBR CEO, commented: ‘We have long admired Legal Geek – the team have built a fantastic business that is unique in the industry. We are excited to support Jimmy and Beth in this next chapter of growth, and explore how we might leverage our multiple brands and existing events over time.’

The acquisition follows ALM’s and LBR’s strategic merger earlier in 2025.
