US-based customer relationship management software for online stores, Klaviyo, has launched an AI agent. Users of the software can now offer customers a webchat with an AI agent. It provides personalized customer support, combined with marketing integration.
Klaviyo is customer relationship management (CRM) software for B2C brands. It Is based in the United States, but many of its users are European online retailers. With its suite of tools, it combines marketing automation, analytics and customer service into one solution.
53% consumers prefer instant help from AI instead of waiting
A month ago, the company published a report that concluded that out of 2,000 consumers, at least 53 percent would rather get help from an AI agent than wait for a human reply. Additionally, 62 percent preferred an AI agent that remembers their preferences over having to explain these preferences multiple times to a salesperson.
More personalized shopping experience
Personalization is often considered an important part of marketing for online stores, as it can increase conversion rates. Klaviyo has now added an AI agent to its suite. It is built into the Customer Hub, and it integrates an online store’s products, policies, FAQs and customer data. According to Klaviyo, this results in a faster and more personalized shopping experience.
The AI agent can offer product recommendations and cross-sell suggestions
The AI agent offer product recommendations, it does cross-sell suggestions and responds within seconds. Later this year, it will also be able to process returns, update subscriptions and edit shipping details. Klaviyo also wants to expand the AI agent to more channels, like WhatsApp, sms and email.
Available in September
The tool is now live in beta, which users can now join. In September, it will become generally available.
