Infodash, the digital workplace solutions platform, has announced the launch of a new legal extranet capability. The company underlined that it will compete with Thomson Reuters’ HighQ and other similar products.
The company said that it is ‘purpose-built for client collaboration [and] eliminates separate logins, clunky interfaces, and steep learning curves that plague legacy systems’.
‘Law firms can now manage secure, scalable extranet sites directly through SharePoint Online, without the need for specialized skillsets, deploying in weeks instead of months,’ they added.
Commenting on the launch, Ted Theodoropoulos, CEO, Infodash, said: ‘Our new extranet is a game-changer. It helps law firms deliver better client experiences, reduce IT overhead, and unlock the full power of Microsoft 365 without the friction of outdated tools. This is a major milestone in our mission to modernize legal collaboration.’
So, what does it offer?
Unlimited Users and No Storage Caps – Simplifies budgeting and removes growth limitations.
Deep Microsoft 365 + Legal Tech Integrations – Connects seamlessly to SharePoint, Teams, iManage, NetDocs, Aderant, Elite and more.
Automated Provisioning & Governance – Reduces IT burden while strengthening compliance.
Self-Service for Legal Teams – Lets non-technical users create sites without IT involvement.
Frictionless SSO Experience – One-click access for clients with familiar Microsoft tools.
No Per-User Fees – Unlimited external and internal users at no extra cost.
Is this a big deal? Well, extranets are not something the market talks about as much as in the past, but that doesn’t mean the solutions already out there have totally solved the problem. Moreover, perhaps as more law firms build client-facing genAI tools then the need for extranets that fit around those tools will increase? Plus, if we hope for more collaboration between firms and inhouse teams on workflows then extranets with the most up-to-date capabilities will be essential.
