IBM named KAMERYN STANHOUSE VP/Sports & Entertainment Partnerships. Stanhouse most recently was head of corporate partnerships at Politico (POLITICO, 5/29). She is also co-founder & CEO of O’House Productions and served as brand manager for Under Armour Women’s brand from 2013-2016 (SBJ).
World Anti-Doping Agency President WITOLD BAŃKA and VP YANG YANG were elected to a third three-year term atop the organization in a vote of WADA’s Foundation Board. Both ran unopposed. Their final terms will start Jan. 1 and run through 2028 (Rachel Axon, SBJ).
NWSL expansion club Denver NWSL named CURT JOHNSON as the club’s first GM. Johnson most recently served as Chief Soccer Officer & GM of the North Carolina Courage. He also led Sporting K.C. as GM and has held leadership roles in MLS, USL and NASL (Denver NWSL).
The Pelicans named TROY WEAVER SVP/Basketball Operations. Weaver was an adviser with the Wizards this season. The team also named JASON HERVEY Dir/Player Personnel and DAVIS SMITH Basketball Operations Manager. Hervey was an advance scout for the Trail Blazers for the past four seasons (New Orleans TIMES-PICAYUNE, 5/28).
Lightning Assistant GM & AHL Syracuse Crunch GM STACY ROEST has “parted ways with the organization” (TAMPA BAY TIMES, 5/28).
Former Jaguars Assistant GM ETHAN WAUGH has “rejoined the 49ers as personnel executive.” Waugh now enters his 19th season with the 49ers and his first with the team since 2021, when he served as VP/Player Personnel. Waugh served as the Jaguars Assistant GM for three seasons from 2022-24 (X, 5/28).
Legends named CASEY DOWLING Regional VP/Northeast. Dowling spent the last 11 years with Aramark Sports + Entertainment, most recently as VP/Growth (SBJ).
NESN promoted Senior Dir/Marketing & Communications CASEY BLOSSOM to VP/Brand, Marketing & Communications. Blossom first joined the network in 2019 after serving with the NHL for three years. Prior to that, she spent three years with LEGO Group (SBJ).
The 49ers promoted Senior Manager/Stadium & Event Operations CAMILA HAMMER to Dir/Stadium Operations. Hammer joined the stadium operations team in 2016 after serving with AEG. Hammer has also served with GMR Marketing, UC Berkeley, and the San Francisco Bay Area Super Bowl 50 Host Committee (SBJ).
Visit Wichita named CHRIS SPALL Sports Sales Manager. Spall spent the last 12 years working for Wichita State’s athletic department, most recently as Dir/Development (Visit Wichita).
Balsam Mountain Preserve named ALLISON MACKE Merchandiser. Macke last served as a Merchandiser with Quail Creek Country Club. She has also interned with Mountaintop Golf & Lake Club and West Bay Beach & Golf Club (Balsam Mountain Preserve).
