Harvey has launched an Outlook Add-In ‘to bring AI-powered drafting and summarization directly into your inbox’. It builds upon its existing connector to Word that integrates with its genAI drafting, editing, and contract review offerings.
The pioneering company, which just announced it had hit $100m ARR, said that the goal with the Outlook Add-In is to ‘help you take control of your inbox, stay in the flow, and unlock greater leverage in your legal work’.
Harvey’s Outlook Add-In will be available early Q4, with beta customers getting access in the coming weeks, they added.
As to the logic behind this, they explained that: ‘Outlook is more than just an email client. It’s where conversations start, where information flows in and out of organizations, and where decisions take shape. By bringing Harvey into Outlook, we’re unlocking AI-powered support for drafting, summarization, and day-to-day questions right in your inbox.’
And this meant ‘no more jumping between tools and no more context switching’.
They concluded by saying that this is part of a broader vision around forming a connective layer across a firm’s legal tech stack, and builds on integrations with legal research platforms like LexisNexis and document management systems such as iManage.
