It’s a busy afternoon at AL HQ – and we’ve got the CLM is Dead webinar with Law Insider in 30 mins, so this will be quick.
Harvey has formed a tech partnership and integration with iManage. This close partnership will allow legal teams to work more efficiently by connecting Harvey’s legal reasoning capabilities directly to the iManage platform.
The integration will enable Harvey users to seamlessly access documents from within iManage and return Harvey-generated work product back to the iManage platform.
This reduces content duplication and manual uploading and downloading, maintains content security protecting an organization from accidental data leakage, and enables legal professionals to focus on higher-impact work, they said.
Winston Weinberg, Co-Founder and CEO of Harvey, commented: ‘iManage is where much of the legal world’s knowledge lives. By launching this integration, we are meeting our shared customers where they already work, further embedding domain-specific AI into core legal workflows.’
And Shawn Misquitta, EVP Product Management, added: ‘Success with AI starts at the foundation — with an organization’s own data that’s organized, governed and secured. That’s exactly what the iManage platform delivers at global scale. Combined with our dynamic partner ecosystem, we enable organizations to apply AI responsibly in ways that truly drive business outcomes.’
Is this a big deal? Well, is a close tech partnership between one of the most ambitious legal AI companies in the sector with a KM business that is used by a huge part of the legal market a big deal..?….Yep…!
