After ChatGPT-5, Google’s CEO, Sunder Pichai, has also announced to offer its advanced AI generator Veo-3 completely free. The offer is applicable for a limited time period, but users can grab a chance to experience this advanced AI video generator platform. The announcement comes after ChatGPT CEO Sam Altman announced offering ChatGPT Go, a new monthly plan with a low subscription cost.

Here’s What Google is Offering in Veo 3:

The announcement was made by Google CEO Sundar Pichai on X, confirming that the tool will remain open to everyone until 10 a.m. on Monday, August 25, 2025. To recall, the platform is normally reserved for Gemini Pro subscribers; however, it will now be available through the Gemini app on Android and iOS.

Free Weekend Access to Veo 3

The weekend access to Veo 3 for free is the company’s effort to let more users test the power of its video generation technology. Not only this, in order to run the system smoothly during the high-demand period, the tech giant has added more TPUs and extra computing power in Veo 3.

Slide into the weekend with 3 video generations at no cost with Veo 3 in the @GeminiApp. But act fast — you have from now until Sunday, 8/24 at 10 pm PT.

Here’s How You Can Easily Use Veo 3

Getting started with Veo 3 is simple and does not require a subscription during this trial. Users just need to:

STEP 1: The first step is to sign in with your Google account on the Gemini app or the website.

STEP 2: Now, you have to select the Video option from the chat box section.

STEP 3: The next step is to enter a text prompt describing the video you want to generate.

STEP 4: Within seconds, the tool creates a short clip that matches the description, ranging from fun animations to cinematic visuals.

The company introduced the Veo 3 at Google’s I/O 2025, calling it the company’s most advanced video AI tool. It doesn’t work like basic video generators, and hence, it can transform simple text into high-quality clips. This offers a wide range of creative options to users.

Additionally, you can create short animated sequences to realistic video shots on Veo 3. The platform is designed for both casual users and professionals looking to experiment with AI-driven visuals.

Availability in India

Google has also launched the Veo 3 Fast model in India, which focuses on delivering quicker results. Users in India can access it on both Android and iOS devices through the Gemini app, making it easy to try the service without any subscription fee this weekend.
