However, to make the Nano Banana AI even more accessible, AI startup Perplexity AI has brought it to WhatsApp. This has made the Image generation AI model to WhatsApp, which has a significant user base in India and abroad. Aravind Srinivas, co-founder and CEO of Perplexity, reshared the post on X.

After starting a conversation, you can send an image and give a prompt of your choice. Nano Banana works best with detailed prompts and generates accurate images. Be it the iconic saree trend or 4K retro portraits, the model will produce the same images as it does directly on Google’s apps.
Prompt Examples:
“A close-up, professionally composed photograph showcasing a hand-crocheted yarn doll gently cradled by two hands. Is Nano Banana on WhatsApp free?
In the announcement, Perplexity did not specify whether you can use Nano Banana through its bot on WhatsApp for free. However, Google does provide limited free usage for the engine, with paid subscribers getting greater access. This could likely be the case with the Perplexity bot, too.
India has the highest usage of Nano Banana according to Google, with the Gemini app topping the charts on Apple’s App Store and Google Play. The access to Nano Banana on WhatsApp will likely lead to even more users trying their hands on this trend.
