Google Cloud brings Veo 3 and Veo 3 Fast on Vertex AI

Google Cloud has launched Veo 3 and Veo 3 Fast—its latest AI video generation models—for general availability on Vertex AI. The tools allow users to create professional-quality videos using text prompts. Veo 3 is designed for high-quality video creation, producing 1080p visuals with native audio, lip-syncing, and sound effects. Veo 3 Fast, on the other hand, focuses on speed and is suitable for rapid ad testing, product demos, and training videos. Both models are aimed at enterprises looking to scale video creation efficiently. They support features like local language adaptation for global campaigns and professional-grade visuals suitable for marketing and internal communications. Google said that an image-to-video feature, which will let users animate a single image into a video clip, will enter public preview in August.Starting August, users will be able to upload an image and a short prompt to create an 8-second video clip—useful for marketers and creators looking to animate still visuals quickly. As announced by the company, several global businesses have already integrated Veo 3 into their workflows. For example,

Canva is using it to let users create videos inside the platform with AI tools.BarkleyOKRP, a creative agency, is using Veo 3 to improve video sync quality and speed up production.eToro created 15 versions of its ad in local languages using the tool.Razorfish combined it with other Google tools to create near-cinematic content for Visit Orlando.Synthesia is pairing Veo visuals with its AI avatars and voices for custom storytelling.

Google says that all videos generated using Veo 3 and Veo 3 Fast come with SynthID watermarks to prevent misuse and misinformation. Google Cloud also offers legal indemnity for enterprise customers using its generative AI services.Veo 3 and Veo 3 Fast are now live on Vertex AI Media Studio. Businesses can begin creating AI-powered videos at scale, using text or image prompts, with tools built for speed, quality, and localization.
