Google has expanded access to its advanced AI video generation tool Veo 3 to users worldwide, including India, through its Google AI Pro subscription service available on the Gemini app.The rollout brings Google’s most sophisticated video creation technology to Indian users for the first time, allowing subscribers to generate realistic eight-second videos complete with synthesized speech, background music, and sound effects using simple text or image prompts.Veo 3, unveiled at Google I/O developer conference in May, represents Google’s answer to competitors like OpenAI’s Sora video generator. All videos generated from user photos feature both visible watermarks and invisible SynthID digital signatures to clearly identify AI-generated content.The Google AI Pro subscription, required for Veo 3 access, also includes advanced features like Gemini 2.5 Pro, Veo 2 Video Tools, Whisk, NotebookLM integration, and 2TB of cloud storage.Veo 3 is now available in all regions where the Gemini app operates.
