Welcome to this week’s Friday Follow On, featuring: Law Insider, Definely, Legatics, Litigaze + a special 24-hour ticket offer for Legal Innovators California.
First up: do you think that CLM is dead? Or not dead at all and in the process of rapid and successful transformation? Plus, can the more tightly-focused AI + contract tech businesses take their market? This and more we’ll be discussing during the ‘CLM is Dead – Long Live AI’ Webinar, with Law Insider’s Preston Clark and Electra Japonas – June 5, 3:00 PM (UK) – 10AM EST.
All are welcome and admission is free to this live webinar, chaired by AL, but please RSVP here.
P.S. AL has already had one CLM company rep contact the site asking to do a counter-argument – which I am also very happy to support. This should be a lively debate, with strong views across the spectrum!

Definely Webinar: Success Tactics – Change Management + AI – June 17
Next up is another great webinar, which asks the question: how do you run a successful change management project when it comes to adopting legal AI across a law firm or inhouse team? Clearly just dropping some AI tools on a team of lawyers and hoping it all just works out is maybe not the best strategy. But, what is the best way to do this?
We will cover:
1 – Creating a Change Management Playbook for Legal Tech. Talking about how to map stakeholders, run pilots, create champions, and structure a phased rollout to capture hearts and minds.
2 – Driving Adoption and Sustaining AI Momentum. Showcasing practical steps to build excitement, confidence, and credibility over time. And more…
Speakers will include:
Jayanth Poorna – Partner, Culture and Change practice, Korn Ferry – As an engineer by qualification, a software developer by training and a specialist in culture, leadership and change, Jay brings the unique ability to see technology, operating models and transformation through the lens of human experience.
Molly Taylor – Head of Customer Success, Definely – who leads the Customer Success team at Definely, where she is dedicated to ensuring clients achieve measurable value from Definely’s legal products. Before joining Definely, Molly held roles at DXC Technology, Workshare, Litera and Legl.
Panel chair – Richard Tromans, Founder, Artificial Lawyer.
Plus – a mystery guest.
To register for the live webinar on June 17, at 3PM UK time (BST) and 11AM ET, please RSVP here.

This week’s AL TV Product Walk Through is with Litigaze, which has developed a case management platform designed for litigators, offering a spreadsheet-like interface to organise documents, facts, and issues in a centralised, collaborative workspace.
It supports litigation workflows such as document review and chronology building through customisable tables, annotations, and automation features. The platform incorporates AI tools, is scalable, and operates on a per-case pricing model, CEO and founder Len Hickey told Artificial Lawyer.
To watch the video – with Len taking us through, then with some Q&A with AL – please press Play to watch inside the page, or go directly to the Artificial Lawyer YouTube channel here, where you can watch over 160 legal tech-focused videos for free.

Legal Data Is A Goldmine! AKA: Is the data worth as much as the legal tech tool….?
Meanwhile, this week’s special interview is with Legatics’ CCO, Daniel Porus, where we explore how the company is taking a broader approach to legal tech deployment – with the ability to capture data in and around a transaction seen as of equal value to the productivity benefits.
As explored last week (see AL story here), the central point is that we’ve tended to see legal tech tools as just doing a specific task, e.g. Legatics helps law firms to manage and complete transactions, but the data that this legal work connects to then potentially has a range of other additional benefits to the firm.
The discussion comes ahead of the Legal Innovators California conference, June 11 + 12 in San Francisco, where Legatics will be taking part.
To watch the video, please press play, or you can also go directly to the Artificial Lawyer YouTube Channel.
