Capgemini has announced a three-way partnership with Mistral AI and SAP to deliver scalable generative AI solutions tailored for highly regulated industries such as finance, aerospace, and the public sector.
The initiative aims to unlock AI-driven business value while maintaining strict data security and compliance standards.
By combining Mistral AI’s multilingual models with SAP’s secure Business Technology Platform, Capgemini will offer over 50 pre-built AI use cases across sectors.
These include augmented field operations in aerospace, predictive drone maintenance in energy, and smart procurement tools applicable industry-wide. All solutions are designed with responsible AI principles and regulatory alignment from the outset.
The announcement noted, “This collaboration offers dual benefits – it accelerates the deployment of custom generative AI solutions within SAP for all organisations and enables those organisations requiring secure environments for regulatory or privacy purposes to leverage generative AI solutions.”
Marjorie Janiewicz, executive board member and global head of revenue at Mistral AI said, “This new collaboration between Capgemini, Mistral AI and SAP unlocks new high-value business use cases for organisations seeking to augment their operations with generative AI capabilities,”.
Fernando Alvarez, chief strategy and development officer and group executive board member at Capgemini, said, “Enterprises are increasingly turning to generative AI to enhance their resilience, streamline operations and accelerate time to value…Capgemini is committed to helping them evolve their critical business processes through the secure and tailored application of AI.”
Mistral AI recently launched a high-speed, enterprise-grade Document AI platform designed to handle complex, high-volume paperwork with over 99% OCR accuracy across 11 languages.
Capable of interpreting low-res scans, handwritten forms, and mixed-layout documents, it outputs structured JSON using custom templates and processes up to 2,000 pages per minute on a single GPU. The release follows Mistral’s recent open source milestones, including Devstral for code tasks and the multimodal Mistral Small 3.1 model.
