Capgemini has announced a new phase in its strategic partnership with Mistral AI and SAP to bring secure, scalable generative AI solutions to highly regulated industries. This collaboration is aimed at transforming operations and driving improved business outcomes in sectors such as financial services, public sector, aerospace & defence, and energy & utilities.
The three companies are combining their strengths: Capgemini’s industry expertise, Mistral AI’s cutting-edge gen AI models, and SAP’s Business Technology Platform (BTP), to enable organisations in regulated sectors to deploy AI solutions within secure, trusted environments.
Organisations in highly regulated industries often struggle to adopt advanced AI technologies due to strict data governance requirements. This collaboration helps overcome that challenge by providing over 50 pre-built, process-specific AI use cases hosted securely on SAP BTP. These use cases are designed to improve operational efficiency, crisis preparedness, customer personalisation, and supply chain agility, all while adhering to compliance norms.
The collaboration involves Capgemini, for technological transformation; Mistral AI, known for its innovative, multilingual gen AI models; and SAP, for enterprise software.
Capgemini will integrate Mistral AI models into SAP BTP, offering industry-specific use cases such as:
Aerospace & Defence: Augmented field workers for faster resolution of operational non-conformities.
Energy & Utilities: Drone-based inspections to enable predictive maintenance.
Cross-sector: Intelligent procurement systems to streamline indirect purchasing from multiple vendors.
These AI applications are designed with built-in governance and regulatory alignment, ensuring both innovation and data security.
Capgemini has already piloted such solutions with companies like Brose, an automotive supplier, where an AI-powered assistant, SupplierGPT, was developed and deployed in weeks, improving supplier collaboration and process consistency.
This joint effort aims to accelerate the adoption of AI in critical sectors by offering a secure path to innovation, helping businesses become more agile, efficient, and future-ready.
