Artificial Lawyer is heading to San Francisco to chair Legal Innovators California on Wed and Thurs and the rest of the week will be on holiday. So, given that AL won’t be publishing much until June 16th, here are some News in Brief + your FFO to keep you entertained.
AL NIBS
Legl has announced a new integration with Clio, which enables UK law firms to streamline client onboarding and manage AML compliance directly within Clio’s leading practice management platform.
With this integration, law firms can launch onboarding workflows from Clio, automate compliance checks, and keep client information up to date across both platforms. ///
Doctrine, the French research AI platform, is launching in Germany through a strategic equity investment in dejure.org. ///
The German Law Society (Deutscher Anwaltverein e.V., DAV) and legal automation company, BRYTER, have announced a partnership, giving 60,000 local lawyers access to the AI productivity suite BEAMON AI at discounted rates.
This is seen by German legal tech experts as a big deal, as there has been a notable level of scepticism until recently there in terms of leveraging AI tools. ///
Taylor Wessing has picked Legora, the legal AI platform. Following a successful pilot involving more than 80 lawyers across multiple offices, Legora will be rolled out firmwide. The platform will be supported with training tailored to each practice area to ensure folks get the most out of the new technology. ///

That’s all for now, folks.
As mentioned, next week AL will either be in Conference Chair Mode, or on holiday. AL will probably do one item of news on Monday, and also share some think pieces throughout the week, but that’s it. Regular news will start again on June 16th.
