Apple has just expanded its Apple Intelligence features to India, bringing with it an exciting array of tools designed to enhance creativity, productivity, and privacy. One of the most innovative features in this update is Genmoji — a new way to revolutionize the emoji experience. But that’s just the beginning. With iOS 18.4, iPadOS 18.4, and macOS Sequoia 15.4, Apple has introduced several other features that make the Apple ecosystem more intelligent and user-friendly. Here’s everything you need to know about this major update.

Get Latest Mathrubhumi Updates in English

Genmoji is one of the standout features of Apple’s latest update, taking emoji communication to an entirely new level. Instead of being limited to a static library of emojis, Genmoji lets users create custom emojis based on descriptions. Whether you’re chatting with family, friends, or colleagues, you can generate a personalized emoji to match any conversation. Simply type a description, and Genmoji will create multiple versions to choose from, including emojis based on your loved ones’ likenesses. You can even further personalize these emojis with accessories like hats, glasses, and more, making conversations more fun, expressive, and unique.

Writing Tools: Refine Your Text Anywhere

Apple’s Writing Tools now span across iOS, iPadOS, and macOS, providing a seamless writing experience across the system. These tools include options to Proofread, Rewrite, and Summarize text. Whether you’re composing emails, text messages, or working in third-party apps like Notes or Pages, you can enhance your writing in just a few taps.

The Rewrite tool allows you to adjust the tone of your writing—whether you need it professional, concise, or friendly. The Proofread feature checks for grammar, sentence structure, and word choice, offering helpful suggestions. And for those who need a quick overview, the Summarize option condenses long pieces of text into digestible key points or summaries, making it easier to digest lengthy information.

Clean Up Your Photos and Explore New Creative Possibilities

Apple’s Photos app now includes the Clean Up tool, which allows users to remove unwanted objects or people from their photos. Whether it’s a random stranger in the background or an object that spoils an otherwise perfect shot, Clean Up makes it easy to remove distractions while maintaining the integrity of the original photo.

Additionally, the Image Playground tool lets users create fun and imaginative images. Whether it’s animations, illustrations, or sketches, Image Playground makes it easy to design images for your conversations or presentations. The tool is integrated with apps like Messages, Keynote, and Freeform, providing endless creative possibilities.

Visual Intelligence: A Smarter Way to Learn About Your Surroundings

Apple’s new Visual Intelligence features help users learn about objects, places, and even plants or animals. Simply use your iPhone’s camera to identify items in the real world, and Visual Intelligence will help you understand them better. For example, you can translate text from a flyer, identify a plant, or create an event based on the details of a poster. This feature, available on devices like the iPhone 16 series, also works with ChatGPT to provide explanations for complex diagrams or even solve problems in real-time.

Siri Gets Smarter and More Conversational

Apple has enhanced Siri to make it more natural and integrated into the overall Apple ecosystem. The redesigned Siri interface, complete with an elegant glowing light, is now more conversational and flexible than ever. It can follow along with your requests, even when you stumble over words, and maintain context between interactions. Additionally, Siri now offers richer product knowledge, helping users navigate Apple devices and services more efficiently.

Apple continues to help users stay organized and focused with features like Priority Messages and Priority Notifications. With Priority Messages, important emails (like time-sensitive invitations or urgent information) are automatically highlighted, ensuring they don’t get lost in your inbox. For lengthy email threads, the Summarize function gives you a quick overview of the most relevant details. Priority Notifications further streamline your experience by prioritizing notifications that demand immediate attention, helping you stay on top of your most important communications.

One of the defining features of Apple Intelligence is its commitment to user privacy. Most of the AI features rely on on-device processing, meaning that the majority of data never leaves your device. For more complex requests, Apple utilizes Private Cloud Compute, a privacy-focused cloud service that allows for powerful computations while ensuring that user data remains protected.

Apple’s transparency in this area is further emphasized by the ability of independent experts to inspect the code that runs on Apple silicon servers, ensuring that user data is never exposed or stored unnecessarily.
