According to Phoenix Technology News (Author/Li Zhiqin), on September 16, SAIC Audi held a press conference at the Guangzhou Bay Area Sports Center, announcing the official launch of the new Audi E5 Sportback. A total of four models are offered, with a price range of 235,900 to 319,900 Yuan.
Audi has also partnered with Doubao Large Language Model to support voice cloning technology, allowing the car to mimic the owner’s voice. Additionally, Audi has collaborated with Baidu Maps to customize the largest map navigation interface in its class. The vehicle also offers mobile connectivity features, including Apple CarPlay, compatible with mainstream smartphone brands such as Apple, Huawei, Xiaomi, Vivo, and Oppo.
In terms of assisted driving, Audi announced its collaboration with Momenta, with the new Audi Panoramic Assisted Driving System supporting functions such as urban navigation, highway cruising, and automatic parking. Audi also announced that customers who place an order for the Audi E5 Sportback can enjoy lifetime free use of the Audi Panoramic Assisted Driving System.
For large-screen interaction, Audi has equipped the vehicle with a 12.3-inch fully digital instrument panel and a 27-inch central control screen, extending from the center console to the passenger side.
