Anthropic AI has said that their Claude AI chatbot will be able to remember preferences made in team projects without needing people to explain themselves repeatedly. The feature is being rolled out for Team and Enterprise users now.
Last month, the memory update had been introduced for paid subscribers, but now Team and Enterprise users will automatically have the feature.
“With memory, Claude focuses on learning your professional context and work patterns to maximize productivity. It remembers your team’s processes, client needs, project details, and priorities. Sales teams keep client context across deals, product teams maintain specifications across sprints, and executives track initiatives without constantly rebuilding context,” a blog posted by Anthropic stated.
Teams will also have control over the memory feature – they can disable it for their organisations and even manage what parts Claude should remember.
They will also have Incognito chats for conversations that they don’t want to be saved to memory.
Claude can also create a separate memory for each project to ensure discussions stay confidential within projects and are distinct.
There’s also a memory summary feature to view all the chats under one specific place for users to view and edit. The chatbot will then adjust its memories based on these changes users make.
