China’s DeepSeek AI says Dogecoin (DOGE), Bonk (BONK), and Dogwifhat (WIF) are the top meme coins to watch for the rest of 2025, predicting strong performance as hype around a new altcoin season gains momentum.
The market cap of altcoins has already surged over 30% this month, according to TradingView, momentum that DeepSeek says could help push the three meme coins into breakout territory.
CoinMarketCap’s Altcoin Season Index and the Crypto Fear and Greed Index both reflect rising market optimism, creating what DeepSeek calls the perfect setup for a major meme coin rally.

DeepSeek Predicts These Cryptos Will Soar Toward The End Of 2025
That backdrop prompted DeepSeek to zero in on the three meme coins, noting that they “thrive on hype, community strength, and viral potential.”
“While meme coins are high-risk, DOGE, BONK, and WIF have the strongest fundamentals to thrive in 2025,” DeepSeek said. “Meme coins are highly speculative, but these three have the strongest communities and narratives to survive and thrive in the next bull run.”
According to the AI, “DOGE is the safest bet, BONK offers balanced growth, and WIF could deliver the highest returns—if you’re willing to gamble.”
Dogecoin
According to DeepSeek, Dogecoin, which it called “the original meme coin,” could soar to between $0.75 and $1.50 in the final stretch of 2025, marking an up to 6x surge for the crypto from its current price.
According to DeepSeek, “DOGE is the most widely recognized meme coin, backed by Elon Musk and mainstream adoption.”
If Musk makes DOGE a payment option on X, DeepSeek said the meme coin “could skyrocket.” What’s more, asset managers including Grayscale, Bitwise and 21Shares have applied to launch Dogecoin ETFs. If approved, they would likely bring strong new demand for the meme coin, according to the AI.
“Unlike newer meme coins, DOGE has long-term holders and deep liquidity,” the AI added.
Bonk
DeepSeek calls Bonk “Solana’s top dog meme coin,” and predicts its price could soar up to 4.5x to between $0.000075-$0.00015.
According to DeepSeek, Bonk has a “first-mover advantage on Solana” and “strong exchange support.”

Adding to the meme coin’s potential is the fact that it is already listed on top-tier centralized exchange platforms such as Binance, Coinbase and OKX. This, according to DeepSeek, ensures ample liquidity for the crypto.
The AI also said that SOL soaring to $500+ will benefit BONK, because it is Solana’s “flagship meme coin.”
Dogwifhat
DeepSeek views WIF as the “dark horse meme coin” of its three top picks, and predicts its price has the potential to soar between 8.5x and 17x to reach between $10 to $20.
DeepSeek says WIF “has the most upside potential” of its three top picks because of its smaller market cap, “strong viral appeal,” and potential listings on “major exchanges.”
“WIF is still under $1B, making it easier to 5-10x than DOGE or BONK,” the AI model said.
Compared to other “generic” dog coins in the market, WIF’s “absurd ‘dog wearing a hat’ meme has more cultural staying power,” DeepSeek added.
Finally, it said that a major exchange listing could cause the meme coin’s price to “explode like SHIB did in 2021” when it listed on Binance and later in the year on Coinbase.
