This center is set up as a collaborative center where partners, clients and startups obtain experience of building, refining and operating autonomous AI agents based on Small Language Models (SLMs). The center will develop next-generation AI solutions quickly through co-creation and rapid experimentation in order to expedite the process of their adoption.

A recent survey conducted by IBM with Oxford Economics painting a picture of global leaders of agentic AI found that business leaders in India are on the forefront as far as agentic AI adoption is concerned. 78 percent of the countries realise its potential in developing better decisions and inspiring staff to use autonomous AI tools, so India encourages the culture of innovation. On LinkedIn, AI strategist Dr. Priya Sharma posted “IBM’s Agentic AI Innovation Center arrives at a pivotal time for India, empowering enterprises with hands-on tools and governance frameworks needed to harness autonomous AI at scale.”
The Center can help address this as the Center is working to fill in the gap between experimentation and deployment with hands-on workshops, developer hangouts, and AI Accelerator Days.
