First there was Pramata, then ContractPodAi, now Luminance has launched what it’s branding Deep Insight, which covers the impact on contracts of tariffs, ESG, and other regulations. Clearly there’s a pattern here, albeit that this one’s net is cast over a wider range of items – not just tariffs.
But, the same approach is there.

As Luminance explained: ‘Rather than relying on lengthy manual reviews or post-facto legal analysis, Deep Insight uses AI to monitor both a company’s entire contract portfolio and relevant third-party information, such as government updates or regulatory announcements. It then recommends practical mitigation strategies tailored to the business.’
It can do the following:
‘Analyze trusted third-party sources, such as government websites, to get a holistic understanding of the current tariff climate;
Construct a targeted research plan segmented by geographic jurisdiction;
Map this intelligence onto a company’s contracts;
Extract key clauses and terms (e.g., pricing, penalties, delivery obligations); and
Propose immediate next steps to minimize exposure and take advantage of new opportunities.’
Plus, they add, ‘Deep Insight completes this entire workflow autonomously, leveraging the latest in agentic AI to execute tasks end-to-end’.
Eleanor Lightbody, CEO of Luminance, commented: ‘Whether it’s compliance, procurement or finance, teams can’t afford to wait weeks or months for traditional legal reviews. Deep Insight arms them with instant, reliable answers grounded in a full understanding of their business and the world around them.’
As they say, there’s nothing quite as successful as a good idea. Who’s next…?
