27th May 2025 – (San Francisco) Google has officially broadened access to its Veo 3 video generation model to users in more countries. The tech giant, under Alphabet’s umbrella, announced the launch of the artificial intelligence (AI) model in 71 additional countries through the Gemini app and web version, providing access to paid subscribers of Gemini.
The Veo 3 AI model, known for its realistic video generation capabilities, is now accessible to a wider audience, excluding European Union nations, the UK, and India in its initial rollout.
Countries such as Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, Japan, and South Africa, among others, will now have access to Veo 3. Google Labs and Gemini Vice President Josh Woodward revealed this expansion, highlighting that mobile app access will soon follow. Subscribers to the Pro tier will receive a trial pack allowing for 10 video generations without refreshes or additional credits. In contrast, Ultra plan subscribers at $249.99 can utilize Veo 3 on both the Gemini mobile app and website, enjoying maximum rate limits for the AI model and daily refreshes.
