TEMPO.CO, Jakarta – Amazon has released its own intelligence model, AI Nova Premier, towards the end of last month, precisely on Wednesday, 30 April 2025. This model adds to the AI variants owned by one of the world’s largest e-commerce service providers. Previously, there were Nova Micro, Nova Lite, and Nova Pro.
“Similar to Nova Lite and Pro, Premier can process text, images, and videos. However, it does not include audio,” according to Amazon’s statement through its official website, as quoted on Sunday, 4 May 2025.
According to Amazon, the Nova Premier model excels in complex tasks requiring deep understanding, double-step planning, and execution of tools and data sources. This AI service with a large context span of up to one million tokens can process very long documents or large codebases.
Amazon Nova Premier can be used through Amazon Bedrock, which can be used to create Large Language Model (LLM)-based AI applications from multiple providers without their own infrastructure. The use of LLM can be done directly via the Application Programming Interface (API) without the need to set up servers, graphics processing units (GPUs), or other cloud configurations.
With Nova Premier and Amazon Bedrock Model Distillation, Amazon offers the creation of Nova Pro, Lite, and Micro versions with customizable capabilities, cost-effectiveness, and low latency. “For your specific needs,” stated Amazon.
This latest Amazon AI model can be integrated with other artificial intelligence, such as Meta, DeepSeek, Anthropic, and so on. This model can redirect advanced capabilities for various purposes based on the codebase used.
“The main advantage of using Nova Premier for a supervisor role is its accuracy in coordinating complex workflows,” claimed Amazon.
