
Jack T. Clark, 74, of Glencoe, MN, passed away Monday, April 21, 2025, at his home.
A funeral service took place Tuesday, April 29, 2025, at 12 p.m. at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Plato, MN, with interment following in the church cemetery.
Visitation took place Tuesday, April 29, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., two hours prior to the service, all at the church.
Clergy who officiated: Pastor Tyson Mastin.
Organist: Yvonne Schuette.
Congregational hymns: “How Great Thou Art,” “In The Garden,” and “On Eagle’s Wings.”
Casket bearers: Alex Lopez, Manuel Lopez, Miguel Montes De Oca, Cristian Mendoza Clark, Cesar Mendoza Clark, Allie Daugherty, Dee Tschudia, and Tony Clark.
Jack Terry Clark was born March 6, 1951, in Montevideo, MN. He was the son of Franklin and Darlene (Winters) Clark.
Jack was baptized as an infant. He was later confirmed in his faith as a youth at St. John’s Lutheran Church of Chaska, MN.
Jack received his education in Norwood Young America, MN, and he was a graduate of Central High School with the class of 1969.
Jack was united in marriage to Delores (Boike) Bandemer Aug. 21, 1994, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Plato, MN. Their union brought together two families, blessing them with eight wonderful children: Shari, Kari, Jacki, Scott, Troy, Susan, Nancy, and Aaron. Jack and Delores shared more than 30 years of marriage.
Jack was employed at Cemstone Products Company out of St. Bonifacius, MN, as a truck driver for 40 years. He also owned and operated his own trucking company. Jack retired at the age of 65.
Jack was a member of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters Union for 25 years.
Jack was a faithful and active member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Plato. He held many leadership roles at church, served as an usher, was a part of their Bible study group, and was present to lend a hand at any event that took place there.
Jack enjoyed working on old cars, frequenting local car shows, and collecting old cars. He was a “collector” of many things, some say jokingly.
He loved to spend time outdoors, whether he was working in the yard or feeding the birds. He enjoyed relaxing and watching TV. Jack loved to be out on the road, whether it was driving for work or taking a drive around the countryside. He cherished the time he spent with his family, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Jack’s faith, family, friends, and hobbies were of great importance to him. Blessed be his memory.
Jack is survived by his wife, Delores Clark of Glencoe; children, Shari Clark, Kari (Gustavo) Cabrera, Jacki Clark, Scott Clark ,Troy (Gina) Bandemer, Susan Hoese, Nancy (Scott) Buckholtz, and Aaron (Sam) Bandemer; grandchildren, Jacqueline Clark-Leon, Cristian Mendoza Clark, Cesar Mendoza Clark, Miguel Montes De Oca, Lily Montes De Oca, Mariah (Travis) Clark, Dee (Chris) Tschudia, Allie (Ricky) Daugherty, Melissa Hoese, Oksanna (Stephen) Walters, Ben Buckholtz, Manuel (Tiffany) Lopez, Alex (Jasmine) Lopez, Tony Clark, Zack Clark, Paloma Cabrera, and Ramiro Cabrera; 10 great-grandchildren; siblings, Cindy Hanson, Mary (Kenneth) Hoen, Jerry (Leann) Clark, Russ (Sara) Clark, and Jean (Kevin) Kohls; brother-in-law, Marvin (Judy) Boike; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Jack is preceded in death by Liana Clark; his father and mother, Frank and Darlene Clark; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ray and Annie Boike; brothers, Dick Clark and Bob Clark; and brothers-in-law, Randy Hansen and Don Zrust.
