WHAT’S THIS ABOUT?
On February 18, 2025, H2O.ai became aware that a financially motivated group claimed to have stolen its data. In response, H2O.ai launched an investigation with the assistance of third-party cyber security experts to determine the nature and scope of the incident. The investigation confirmed that an unauthorized third party accessed and potentially acquired sensitive personal information, including data belonging to H2O.ai employees, between December 20, 2024, and January 29, 2025. H2O.ai conducted a comprehensive review of the impacted data to determine what information had been exposed and identify affected individuals.
Upon information and belief, the following types of sensitive personalinformation may have been compromised:name, Social Security number, address, date of birth, driver’s license number, payroll information, and benefit enrollment information.On March 27, 2025, H2O.ai filed a notice with the Attorney General of Massachusetts and began mailing data breach notification letters to impacted individuals.Compensation may be available for those individuals who received notice that their personal information was compromised.
